Much Improved

After Lane's tough day Wednesday, yesterday was a much better day! Lane slept good Wednesday night and even took a short nap for me Thursday morning. After we met Dad for lunch Lane and I headed to the beach.

I never could get a picture of him looking at me. He was way to interested in the sand. So cute. He kept putting his hands in it.

He was also able to contemplate life. I think he got a lot of great thinking done staring out at the Ocean.

After our trip to the beach we headed to the Hooks/ Astros game. Lane got to see Lucy. Lane was really interested in checking Lucy out. He kept trying to reach out and grab her. I guess he thought maybe she was too good to be true. He's looking forward to getting to see her again Sunday when she and her parents come to Round Rock for the Express/ Hooks game.
We left the game and grabbed Whataburger for dinner. Whataburger was started in Corpus and there is one just about on every corner. We couldn't leave without getting a burger.

Lane was fast asleep when I turned to check on him as we pulled out of the to go line with dinner. He slept the whole way home and slept in until 11 am this morning! Vacation can really wear a guy out!
