Lane's Excellent Weekend

We had another great weekend! We spent Friday and Saturday night at the games, but we found time to do lots of other fun stuff.

Friday afternoon Lane put a toy in his red chair and then kicked at it with his foot. I hate to admit he does this quite a bit. It's another one of those things that I'm sure says something about his developing personality, but I'm afraid to know what. Anyway, he was kicking it while I was writing my blog on my computer. I looked at my screen for a minute and then next thing I know he's doing this.

Luckily, I had my camera on my desk! He climbed up into his chair all by himself. I'm sure the couch is next!

Saturday afternoon Lane had a lovely pumpkin-yogurt mix. I fed him, but then let him play with the spoon with a little bit of yogurt. He had yogurt everywhere! Don't you love the glob in his hair?
Sunday afternoon when Clint got home from the game, Lane got to know the "baby in the mirror". He's seen him in there for quite a while now, but yesterday he planted a big one on the baby. He kissed him once and then kept going in for more. I think we had more fun watching Lane and laughing than Lane did giving the kisses.


And, finally Sunday night Lane got to go to his first movie in a theater. The Express had a meet and greet before a showing of the Sandlot. Clint mc'd the event and we planned to leave when the movie started but decided to see how long we could make it. Lane wiggled in Clint's lap the majority of the movie, but he was quiet! And even better, Clint got to experience the worm, I mean, Lane.
