Thanksgiving Recap

We're back! We had a great Thanksgiving break with our families and Lane. Wasn't Clint's post on the blog cute? I think he did a great job. I have a few more pictures from the week that I thought I would share with you. Many times during our trip I was reminded Lane is getting bigger and stronger by the minute!
Isn't he a sweetie? Lane is the best little traveler! He slept and played quietly in his carseat during our many hours in the car this past week. Clint took this of him when we stopped for a little break. He was so sleepy.
As you saw in the cute movie Clint made, Lane had his first Turkey leg Thanksgiving evening. My Great Grandmother insisted on giving me a turkey leg my first Thanksgiving, I was 5 months and have been told I loved it. Since Lane is 6 months we were excited to give him a shot at his own turkey leg. He chewed on it for a couple of minutes before we decided we should take it from him. I love his chubby cheeks in this picture!
Santa made an appearance after Thanksgiving dinner. My parents bought Lane a Santa suit last year after Christmas. I was with them at the store but for some reason Clint wasn't there. We hung it in my Dad's closet and decided not to tell Clint about it so we could surprise him. I wasn't sure Clint would think it was cute, but he loved it! Lane dressed up as Santa and made several "Santa appearances" over the weekend.

Grammy and Grampy have a toy basket at their house for Lane. He loved pulling toys out of his toybox. He especially loved playing with all of his new toys down on the floor with his Grampy.
On Sunday we went on an day trip. We stopped for lunch on Grand Lake. Lane was tired of sitting in his carseat so my Mom suggested we try letting him sit in a high chair. He had a great time sitting up. Another reminder of how quickly my baby is turning into a little boy!
