What a Turkey!

This is actually Clint at the keyboard tonight. No, nothing is wrong with Steph, she simply suggested I take over for the night. After a great trip to Longview to see my family, we are now in Bartlesville, Oklahoma - Steph's hometown. Please do not assume I have the ability to keep your undivided attention as Stephanie so skillfully does.

Where to begin? Well, Lane did have his first turkey leg last night. His Auntie Sarah learned that you have to hold his hands back while spoon-deeding. And, I found out that sleeping until 11am and then napping from 1:30 - 4:30 is a possibility. I've always heard it was possible, but I guess I had to find out for myself.

I have learned a few things on this trip.
1. Babies cry when they get tired.
2. Babies cry more when they are both tired and hungry.
3. Your parents and their friends have nothing to do with you until the baby is tired, hungry or both.

However, when they baby is in a great mood, they forget you exists. Just kidding, they know we are here. We are the people they go to when the baby needs diapers or food.

Check out the video and photos. Enjoy and we will write again soon. Who knows, maybe I will start my own blog. But is it really a blog if no one else reads it?
