Happy Halloween!

Tonight was a big night for the cutest little monster in Round Rock. When Clint got home from work this afternoon we went to have Lane's picture taken in his costume. By the time we got home it was almost dark and Lane was worn out and ready for a nap. When we got home Clint ate a really quick dinner so that he would be ready for the trick or treaters. He really wanted a costume, but we hadn't taken the time to make him one. After a couple of kids came to the door I remembered the scary monster mask that has been in our garage forever. Clint was so excited! He ran into his closet and got out a black suit and put on the mask and he was ready to go. We sat out in the driveway in lawn chairs and had a great time. If the kids were older and seemed like they could handle a good scare, I would encourage them to get a piece of candy out of the bowl while Clint held really still. Once they reached out for the bowl Clint would grab their hand. We had lots of great laughs with the kids.
After we had been outside for a while I just had to go in and get my little monster up from his nap to join in on the fun. He ate his cereal outside and then got to help Dad pass out some candy. He was the cutest little monster I saw all night!
