We made a trip to Bartlesville this weekend to celebrate my Dad's retirement. My Mom and Sister planned a surprise party for my Dad, so we spent the day preparing for it while my Dad worked his last day!
Bob brought over a truckload of tables and chairs for the party. Clint got up just in time to pose for a picture.
Lane was in charge of balloon distribution.
At 4:30 everyone stood out in the driveway to greet my Dad as he drove in.
We had a pinata for my Dad. He was hilarious! My Mom got him good and dizzy and then Clint raised and lowered the pinata while he swung.
Then it was time for gifts, mostly gag gifts of course.
Grampy and Lane checked out the cake. Lane's only experience with a cake was his birthday cake, so he reached in to grab some icing. Luckily Grampy is a quick one!
The next day we took in a Driller's game. It was freezing!
And Grampy snagged a ball for Lane!
