Clint had to go to Corpus for a few days to do some work for the Hooks so Lane and I got to tag along. We had a great time being back in our old stomping grounds, seeing friends and visiting favorite places.
Lane was mesmerized by the TV when we first got into our hotel room. The hotel leaves the TV on so when you walk into your room you are greeted by peaceful nature scenes and sounds. Lane loved watching the birds and the ocean.
After some TV time he was ready to sink back and enjoy our room. He got to have his own little bed. He did great!
While we were there we got to see Brooke who is due with Lane's buddy to be, Connor, anytime now. Lane thought sitting on him would get him out. I guess it didn't work...
Lane and I got to walk along the bay in the morning. He was more interested in chewing on his shoe than taking in the water.
And, Lane had his first lime. He wasn't too sure about it at first, but once he got used to the taste he wouldn't put it down.

Lane, thanks for trying to help get Connor out by sitting on my stomach! Too bad it didn't work. I had fun seeing you and your mom and dad!
